I am indebted to Blake Atwood and Robin Dellabough for transforming my ugly and insanely long first drafts into a tight, readable manuscript.

Your Grass is Greener
I could never have finished my first book without Blake’s heavy developmental editing help. In fact, my self-published book was so well received that a traditional publisher contacted me to create a second edition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you guarantee a bestseller?

Nope. In fact, no one can. My résumé may lead you to think otherwise, but my bestselling clients put in the work long before they wrote their books and chose to work with me. What I can guarantee is that your book will get the same thoughtful, rigorous attention I give my bestselling clients. (For more, read “Bestseller Lists Exposed.”)

What’s my investment?

Depending on the type of ghostwriting or editorial help you need, your financial investment could range from a few thousand dollars to over six figures. For a more tailored estimate, contact me.

How can I work with you?

If you’re a nonfiction author seeking a ghostwriter, collaborative writer, or developmental editor, contact me. If I’m unavailable or not the right fit, that doesn’t mean your book lacks merit. When possible, I’ll recommend other publishing professionals who may benefit you.

If I do have interest and availability, I’ll email clarifying questions and schedule a virtual or in-person (if local) meeting to discuss your book and how I can help. If we agree to move forward, I’ll email you a contract and your first invoice (payments are often in halves, thirds, or monthly). Then our work begins in earnest, often via Google Docs for its asynchronous collaboration. The schedule and shape of our work depends on the project. I aim to be flexible since my clients tend to have full-time jobs and many claims on their time.

What’s your stance on AI?

It’s incredibly useful yet evolving so rapidly that few of us can keep up. In my initial conversations with clients, we will always discuss how they use AI. On the whole, I’m against the use of generative AI, i.e., writing that has been copied and pasted from AI into a manuscript. I am not against the use of AI as a research assistant (check your citations!) or brainstorming partner. (I’m also distraught that it’s effectively stolen my favorite punctuation mark—yes, the em dash.)

What was it like to work with James Clear?

James is a consummate professional. His intelligence, persistence, and dedication were readily apparent. After his book was picked up by Avery, we worked over a few months via email and Google Docs to cut 20,000 words from his manuscript. I learned so much from both James and the book, and I distinctly remember thinking, I bet this will do pretty well.

Your book deserves more than just words on a page. It deserves clarity, impact, and a trusted partner to bring it to life.
